30 Day Shred


Today I did day 1 of the 30 day Shred workout video by Jillian Michaels (the chick from Biggest Looser.) All in all it wasn’t too bad. I liked the fact that it was 20 minutes. This way I can do it, and shower after, while Nuthead naps.  I also liked the fact that it’s fast paced in the since that you aren’t doing the same move over and over again for the entire 20 minutes. She does three circuits of strength training, cardio, and abs. You do 2.5 mins of warm up and cool down. By the time I was all OMG is this ever going to end it was over. BONUS! The only thing that bothered me was that she’s kind of annoying in that butch kind of way. Plus she comes off as fake. Also, SHUT UP so I can just get through this! I also like the fact that it’s a 30 day program so I can see rather soon into this if there are any results. So far tonight I’m to sore. My tummy is a little sore and my legs are tired but not hurting. We’ll have to see how I feel in the morning. I’m betting there is going to be some pain 😦 After the workout I did feel like I got a good work out in and I did break into a good sweat. Now if only Jillian would just come to my house and scold me every time I want to eat junk……..
