Today Stinkerbell and I invited some friends over for a playdate (Kym and her cutie Carson). Kym and I had a blast finally getting a chance to catch up. Stinkerbell and Carson had a ton of fun too. Stinkerbell was all about the baby pool. I swear that kid could live in water. Carson fully enjoyed the swing and the slide. Carson even, inadvertently, showed Stinkerbell how to climb the steps to the slide! I’ve been working on this with her (you would think with her love of climbing she would have figured it out already) on how to do this without slipping FOREVER. Then Carson comes over and teaches her in like 5 seconds! Thanks Carson! All in all we had a blast together and I am looking forward to another playdate!

Okay, so I have said it like a thousand times that my child is a super genius (which she clearly doesn’t get from me as every time I run spell check I have to correct the word genius- apprently there is NOT an O in it.) Well, now we can add future olympic gold medalist! Recently on a family vay-cay we took her to the pool.
She instantly started kicking her legs froggy style and paddling her arms. She’s totally a natural. However, this week I took her to the zoo and let her play in the splash pad. She had a B-L-A-S-T! And OMG she totally looks like she is getting ready for the olympics! See:
So now I am totally convinced that she is going to be the next Micheal Phelps (only female and cute with out jacked up teeth.) I am so going to enroll her in swimming next summer and make her practice everyday for the rest of her life! Okay, not everyday, but lots of them 🙂
